I am having trouble converting avi to dvd. Im converting the avi using winavi and then burning it to dvd using nero but there is no sound. Ive been told to extract the audio using virtualdub but im not sure what to do.
Could someone help me please

Load the avi file into virtualdub.
Select:
audio->avi_audio
audio->full processing mode
audio->Compression (No compression)
audio->conversion (Convert to 48000hz if not that already)
file->save as wav.
You should end up with a file.wav that appears quite large, possibly larger than the orinal avi. Use that as the source for the audio when converting.
