  1. I've finally splashed out on TMPGenc. 2.5 but now I find myself in the situation where I can't find where to activate the application.

I've received an e-mail from pegasys with the serial no. but as my trial period has ended I can't find anywhere to activate TMPGenc with the code.

Anyone any ideas as when I try to start TMPGenc. up I just get 'trail period over' and it links me to the home page but nowhere to input the serial no.

    Please help

  3. Sorted, it must have been the late night and lager drunk previously.

OK now for my stupid question of the day. Having sussed out TMPGEnc.
do I need to author the finished product or can I just use Nero to burn?

I noticed that TMPGEnc. DVD author had a burning process built in so would this be the simplest option for the simplest of people?

Finally I've looked for a simple all-in-one guide from TMPGEnc encoding through authoring to burning but get a bit confused can somebody please post a link for me.

Sorry about all the dumb questions and I hope soon I'll be able to help another newbie like you've helped me.

  4. Using Tmpgenc DVD Author built in burner is what I do! Almost every burn I make is with that, even my backups I open and burn that way.
I am still using an older version of the program though, so I don't know if anything changed in the newer versions.
Only coasters I ever had was hardware related so far and any program would have had that problem!
