Joining two srt files

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could help me create switchable subtitles for my dvd. I have been using subtitle workshop and have tried to fix the errors that it reports but there is an overlapping error that I can't fix. How can I join my two srt files into one then convert to one sub file without having overlap errors. I am gonna be using Sonic DVD producer to author the dvd if it matters.

I keep getting and invalid string position when I insert my subtitle file into Sonic DVD producer and it won't let me insert the sub file. There are no errors in the subtitle file now. Any ideas on what I should do?
