Favorite (or best) DVR

What is your favorite DVR that can write to DVDs?
What about quality/price?

Jestak - click on the dvd writers button at the left and use the drop down to select only desktop recorders...this is the same as https://www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters.php?DVDname=&cdrs=&cdrws=&dvdrs=&dvdrws=&dvdprs=&d...&Search=Search

Here there are a bunch of panasonic supporters, some apex supporters, some phillips supporters and a few sony supporters (sony has no hard drive). [edit - my apologies to anyone I forgot - it's not intentional]

Search the threads ... there are a bunch of good discussions on these already...if you have more specific questions, or can say more about your intended use so that people can try to match the equipment to what you are trying to do, post away and people will try to respond...this same question you are asking comes up about once / week...read through what you can find and post any questions...
