  1. Hi, I thought I saw someplace on here where you can rip a DVD to 1 CD but I cant find that link or area. Even if it is possible and I doint know that it is..is the quality even worth it? I tried VCD and didnt like the blocky-ness of the picture but SVCD seems pretty good ..shame it takes a average of 3 CD's to make them..thanks for any help..keep in mind I dont want to view it on day DIVx because I want to watch the CD's on my DVD player..thanks again.

For 1 cd you would have to do a 2pass vbr for any type of quality. I know at a 750 bitrate it seems to look about the same as a vcd. any lower would brobable look bad encoded by tmpge. You might want to try cce 2.5 you can set a 4 or 5 pass vbr that might stand a chance at looking better. try it out.
