  4. Sorry, we country bumpkins don't have no fancy website weather services to refer to.

But for the record, it's 80°F here in Snowflake with just a hint of a breeze. Same forecast for the next 10 days: upper 80's and breezes.

    Life sucks, don't it.

Um, yeah. I get the lastest conditions from St. Johns, which is almost an hour away! You call that local weather?

Seriously, the two nearest reporting stations are Show Low and St. Johns. Snowflake is in a whole different weather zone from those two cities.

That's why we bought us one of them fancy Davis Weather Monitor II weather stations. We like to be up on the current events, y'understand.

Show Low? Isn't that close to the NE New Mexico state line? I thought you lived farther west nearer Fagstaff

Snowflake is about 20 miles due north of Show Low. Holbrook is 30 miles due north of Snowflake. Holbrook to the State Line via Interstate 40 is 70 miles. Flagstaff is about 80 miles from Holbrook.

    We need a map...

Let's see. I can make out the RenCen, the Penobscot Building, Cobo Arena, Ford Auditorium, excuse me, I need a moment....

Anyway, we had a little rain this morning in northeastern Italy, but today ended up looking like this from the kitchen window:

The mountains are the Dolomiti Range, or the Pre Alps. Thanks for the view of the home front.

Yes, it was intentional. I must have been confusing Slow Blow (again, intentional) with Window Pane (trippy place, man ...) since they sound so much alike.

Not really. When I first was stationed in Colorado, the view of the Rockies really blew me away. Since then I've stationed near mountains: Nevada, Arizona, Japan, now here.

I'm pretty sure the Government is aware there are ordinary Americans who know we have a base in Italy called Aviano. During the Kosovo War, This place was a media circus.
