I have a DMR-E80H that just has the old bland text menus. I was wondering if those who have any of the newer models that give you thumbnails could describe the new design to me? Are the menus the same just with little thumbnails next to the list? Is everything completely rehauled? If you have a picture would you mind posting it? Are they still thumbnails or moving video? How big are the thumbnails? Etc. Thanks!

I also forgot to mention a side-question... I have an analog/firewire converter box for my editing... if I had the Panasonic model with the firewire in could I use the converter as a copy protection removal device? Will standard copy protection inherent with composite signal from VHS travel through a converted firewire signal? Just curious... I doubt I'll go and buy one of these new models anytime soon.
