Widescreen Menus in Maestro?

I have been asked to make a widescreen DVD I am having no with getting the vision to play correctly on both widesceen tv or 4:3 tvs. The problem I am having is getting the menu to do the same if make a 16:9 menu it plays correct on WS but letterboxes on a 4:3. Does anyone know how to make it play correctly on both tv formats?

I usually make widescreen DVDs with Pan/Scan menus. Looks better then letterboxed menus.
For both (letterboxed or Pan/Scan menus) you'll need 2 subpics for each displaymode. I'm authoring with Scenarist, here you only add the second subpic, set the properties as needed for both substreams and add the btt-highlight as needed.
I really can't help you in "how to solve this with Meastro", but woulb be interested too. May you should post this problem at doom9's forum cause there are some maybe helpful guys.

Have you tried setting the "Force to Pan/Scan" options in the Project Properties?
