Pretty simple. Name your favorite piece of hardware, be it your processor, mobo, capture card, you get the drill ...

If possible, name the make and model of you hardware also.

My favorite is probably my ADVC-100 at the moment.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Many many people believe australia is still about 50 years behind the times. I've heard stories that people still believe we rid Kangaroos and emus all over the country, for instance.
    If in doubt, Google it.

  10. My mouse. It's a Microsoft wireless optical job, and it is made in a leather finish.

It's like a well-used armchair for you hand.

Two commentary posts followed by an on-topic post does not a threadjack make

My IBM 300GL that's in the garage.

A picture of pc performance muscle:

    450 Pentium II
    256 PC133 RAM
    16MB RIVA TNT2 Video
    Soundblaster Live! Value
    2x Liteon CD-R/RW Drive
    NEC DVD-ROM

    DIG IT!!!!

Actually, I know it's not all that special, but it the first PC I actually assembled myself (from other 300GLs)... I use it as a jukebox. I store about 60gigs worth of WMA's. Works perfect for that.

Cobra, I got the same mouse and keyboard. but no leather
Hardware? I guess my printer. Canon S9000. I'm thinking about the Epson 2200 but... I hope Canon comes out with pigment inks soon that are compatible (I doubt it though).

    I know...

And for the record, I did vote for my capture card when I replied to that post - ATI AIW 9800 Pro.... it's the most expensive piece in my system so it wins that title by default!!

Hard drive for me. It makes or breaks my system in terms of what I mostly use it for.

I would put graphics card down if I had a good one instead of my integrated video.

After some hard thinking, I have decided that's a tie. As much as I love my printer, I would have to say that I love my Spyder just as much. If not for it, my prints wouldn't come out as good.

Does it have to be a component?
I would say my Ferrari Laptop. Might not be the fastest on the planet, but good enough. (XP2500, Radeon 9200).
We'll be right back after these messages from Binford!
