sound blaster 6.1 problem

Hi Guys,
I have a problem with my 6.1 speaker system. The creative audigy comes with a software for testing the speakers, but when I test it, all the sounds from the other 6 speaker come out of my subwoofer instead of their assign speaker. Try everything from card to the speakers themselves. but all still coming out of the subwoofer. is this a factory defect one or is there something wrong with my computer.
my computer specs:
intel p4 2.0
memory 256MB
sound card: creative audigy z2
speakers: creative 6.1 inspires 6600
