Is there a program you can use to capture whatever you are currently doing on your desktop and save as an AVI?

I've heard of a program called Wink that is supposed to do this for instructional purpose, you are supposed to be able to add text like the 'tours' on some programs. I think it's free. Just google 'Wink'. I've never used it, just ran across it while browsing some download site.
If it works, don't fix it.
