Hi all...
I am capturing some VHS tapes to my computer and having a problem. I keep having troubles getting the audio consistent. I have a SoundBlaster Live card and am recording through the Microphone in jack. Also tried the LineIn but it makes no difference. The problem I am having is that the audio is always slightly distorted. I have adjusted the Windows mixer controls but it won't help. Currently I am using ATI MMC 8.1 for capturing software. So far, I don't like this software at all. Can somebody throw some suggestions at me?
Cheers!

The software has nothing to do with it, MMC is pretty transparent to audio.
Be sure the DB boost is off the MIC.
Better yet, use internal AUX wiring.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)

The DB boost is off.
I am not saying the software is the problem, just saying I don't like it (yet). Will the internal AUX wiring solve the problem? thanks LS -
Lordsmurf..Hooked up the AUX and problem solved.
Thanks for the help!!! You are the ATI man!
