Is there a way to find out what the framerate of an audio file is and how many frames it has? in TMPG when you encode just the audio it says how many frames it is just like when you encode video. I downloaded a video clip and the framerate was 25.00 fps and i followed a guide to convert it to 23.976 fps. it said to use besweet to convert the audio to 23.976 fps then convert the video to 23.976 fps and mux it. i did that and the audio was way out of sync. after trying a bunch of different things, i just encoded the whole clip at 23.976 fps in TMPG and it worked fine. but that's not my problem. i have a few vcds that the audio starts out fine then slowly goes out of sync until by the end of the disc it is about 5 minutes off, give or take. i want to fix them and get them in sync, so i have to find out how fast the audio is playing and change it to the same as the video.

  2. Find out exactly how long your video goes on for, then demux your audio using TMPGEnc's MPEG Tools (File menu). Open it up in Cool Edit or Goldwave (or your audio editor of choice) and stretch the audio to make it the same length as your video. Remux it, and enjoy!

I tried something like that before, and the video and audio is the same exact length. Its just that some of the vcds that I have the audio plays too fast and some the audio plays too slow. I need to find out how fast it is playing so I can change it so the audio and video is in sync.
