    While browsing http://cdrinfo.com I ran across an article talking about 9.4GB DVD-R Blanks. I went to the site to investigate and found that they are allowing customers to preorder DVD-R media at $2.95 each for single sided and $4.95 for double sided. I did not check on their terms to see if there is a limit or not, but I thought that there might be some people on the site that might be interested.

    ...how the heck do you label the double sided discs?

  2. i think i know how they made it...they just glued two single sided DVD-R label by label

    I believe the dual layer disks r only writtable on one side and the laser changes somehow to reach the second layer much the way dual layer DVD-Video does.

    Quite correct. However, they are advertising these as doubel sided instead of dual layer. As I understand it, there are still problems that need to be worked out before dual layer burrning can become a reality.
