when installing these things, http://www.pccasegear.com/prod759.htm, i can see that i put it over my heatsink for my cpu, now would i have to disconnect my heatsink fan, or would i just connect the duct ontop of my heatsink and fan, then install the other fan on top of that...does anyone know about this, or have one installed...holla back, i would like to try this.

From the looks of the diagram it goes between your heatsink and your fan. So you'd have to remove your fan from the heatsink and reattach it to the ducting mod. Even if you COULD attach the mod on top of your fan, it would defeat the purpose because they're saying the point of using it is that the fan prevents airflow directly to the center of the heatsink (where the fan head is).

I couldn't give you any links off the top of my head, but there are plenty of 'liquid cooling' kits out there if you're willng to try something different.

Liquid cooling isn't necessary unless you want to overclock. Occasionally it also can quiet a system down but proper air cooling can be just as quiet if not more so.

Forget the ducting and look for magnetic levitation fans that will replace your current heatsink fans. Mag-lev fans minimize the hub area and are also far more quiet than ball-bearing fans. Aftermarket heatsink would also help. Look into Swiftech heatsinks with a good 80mm fan on top of it and you'll be good. That hub displacement issue won't matter much with one of those weighty copper slugs sitting on your processor.
