I've decided to build another computer for myself strictly to do video editing and dvd burning. Since ASUS replaced the P4P800S mobo I accidently fried I'm thinking I might as well build a pc for myself. All I would need is to purchase the Pent 4 3.0C (800bus) chip, video card, & new antec case. I'm debating if the ASUS mobo P4P800SE would be better than the P4P800S. The only difference I see in the P4P800SE it has 4 memory slots vs only 2 on the P4P800S.
A computer tech friend recommended I get the P4P800-E because it has firewire ports since I would use the pc for video editing only. Most mobo firewire ports have problems with some pc components so I'd rather get a FIREWIRE PCI card that uses Oxford chipset.
I'd appreciate some feedback as to which mobo would any of you purchase between the 2 models I've posted. Thanks in advance!

As long as you can find a board with a TI FireWire chipset you'll be OK.
As for the two different boards I'd get the one with more room for expansion if it costs near the same. You never know when you'll see a deal for RAM too good to pass up. -
Thanks for the reply rallynavvie! Now decisions, decisions!
