    I haven't myself but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. No guarantees that everything will be EXACTLY how it was, but SP2 also has an uninstall option.
    Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.

    sp2 sets a restore point when you install it.

  4. It worked for my daughter's SP2 install. SP2 whacked her PC so badly that even the basic stuff (e.g. IE, control panel, explorer) refused to run. Uninstalling SP2 did the trick; everything works fine now.

    What's completely weird is that my son has the exact same PC with exactly the same configuration and his SP2 install went without a hitch........go figure.

    The other pc might have had more updates.
