I have a few audio tracks that I would like to downconvert from dolby 5.1 to 2/0 stereo because it sounds horrible on my headphones. The sound is weak, and doesn't seem right. Does anyone know how I could do this? Thanks.

BeSweet can do this for you.

I tried using besweet to do a wav -> wav conversion, and selecting 2 channel output wav, but the file ended up with even weaker sounding audio, and being even more incomprehensible. My source file is an ogg file, and I converted it to a wav using foobar then tried to do a wav to wav conversion. Is there some step I'm missing? Any help is appreciated.

I found out that DVD players automatically downconvert to 2/0 stereo if you don't have the necessary hardware to run it in 5.1. In cyberlink DVD player there is also an audio output option that lets you choose other audio output modes, and this seems to fix the problem.
