  2. The white inkjet printables seem to be giving me a lot of errors. I would say anywhere from 5% to 10% on my 812s@832

have you tried burning at 4x or lower? i know that sucks - you bought 8x media and you want to burn at 8x.

I get a lot of errors on my prodisc 4x media when I burn at 4x with my liteOn 411s. But when I burn at 2x, it burns almost perfectly everytime. To me, it's worth it to burn at the slower speed.

Lite-On burners seem to favor +R. The 812/832S really seem to like Ricoh 4x +R discs.

I bought 200 of these things - The MCC code ones and I use both an internal NEC 2510 and an enternal firewire Sony Dru 530ul
The first two burns I did the movie froze at various spots during replay. Even at the very begining and through out different time codes. The next 20 burns so far have been perfect. I've been experimenting with DVD Shrink to ISO to DVD Decryter / COPY to DVD / and few other progs that can burn ISOs. The bad ones If I recall correctly were not from ISOs but instead were with DVD Shrink / Nero Burning rom. I often use nero because it allows burning to multiple burners. I have 4 SOnys daisy chained and I make my wedding videos with that setup with out ever having a playback problem so far.

Anyway, I have not seen anymoremore problems if I back up to ISO and burn with the progs I mentioned.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

Hmm.. Now I'm beginning to worry. I just received my order of 200 from supermediastore. This is what I got:

    Region information N/A not a DVD-VIDEO
    Media code/Manufacturer ID MCC 02RG20
    Format Capacity Not Formatted
    Free Blocks 411107328
    Free Capacity 4.38GB(4.71GB)
    Book Type DVD-R
    Media Type DVD-R

My 8X burner (Pioneer 107) isn't in yet, so once I get it I'll see what happens and report back. I reported this using my Sony DRU-500A 2.1a.
