Has anyone found a GOOD way to make small corrections on Ink Jet printed labels. ?

Can you use "white out" or something that achieves that effect?

    Thanks,

  2. I suggest making the corrections you want in your image editing program, then re-print the label.

But stick-on labels will eventually ruin the playback of your discs.

Thanks for that...I realize I didn't make my question clear.

I don't use labels because they can cause problems, especially with DVD's.

I needed to correct information that was printed directly onto the disc. If it affected only one disc, I would just reburn and reprint, but the problem is larger than that.

    Thanks again.

  4. SO you want a way to "correct" some ink jet printed DVd's?
Dont be such a cheap Skate . Correct image and re-burn. How much is your time worth? how much do blank discs cost?
Your time £10 per hour ($20 or 15e)
blank discs £10 for 50,maybe more
Alternatively .. wash the image off the discs, air dry thoroughly, then re-print.
Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons.

Sorry, I didn't expect the topic to become a personal assault.

The discs aren't mine, and the time to completely remake them would be a problem. Each label has multiple differences, so the editing time would be large. We are talking about 375 discs, created over about a year.

Now, you said WASH them....is that possible? Will the discs still be printable? Do you use detergent and water or some specific cleaner?

Ink jet inks are water soluble or self soluble (they dissolve in the ink). Various ink refill kits include a solvent to clean printheads which also can be used.

I buy blank DVD's for 20 cents a disk or less, can reburn SL DVDs I have previously burned in 10-15 min. How long do you think it will take you to cleanup the disks you have?

A modern drive like an LG-H42, riplock removal if necessary, and 18x burning is my recommendation. Others might recommend TY disks at a higher price, and burning at half-speed - which might leave more time to try to diddle your disks, but I doubt if it wwill be enough and that the results will be satisfactory.
