    My unit came with version 0055 and have not been able to flash to v0059 with the manufacturer's firmware update patch. when i start the process it aborts about 30 secs into it with this error message...

    ERR:unable to identify the flash type.
    BTW I used the Windows update patch. they also have a DOS version which I have not tried (kind of confusing instructions on their (MicroAdvantage) site for using the DOS patch).

    BTW I have used both BTC and M/A's windows firmware upgrade and result is the same (for good reason...the patches are the same size but different filename).
