  1. I have recently bought a laptop which its dvd-player is coded and I can't use it to watch a movie from other regions.
Is there a software or a way that can make my dvd-player region free?

    Hello,

There are a couple of places to look:

    https://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks

    https://www.videohelp.com/tools

In the tools section check out the region free selection. Also, depending on your model and operating system you may be able to use dvd genie.

Some really good suggestions provided by others.

But i prefer using DVD Region Free from dvdidle.com Though this costs (about $40), i have found it to be a great tool. it is guaranteed to work with any dvd drive and software dvd player and also has a host of other features such as macrovision free playing option, play directly main menu or movie etc...

but then again, the choice is yours. usually, people use firmware hacks to make their price region free (as being free), the link is provided by lenti_75. But BEWARE, this can VOID the warranty of your dvd drive.
