    I have a non-protected and non region encoded DVD that I've ripped and have been able to play the VOBs from the HD, sound included. However, after I run DVD2AVI and TMPGenc to create the SVCD, the resulting mpg file has excellent video but absolutely NO AUDIO.

    What to do?

    have a look in the audio menu and set everything to demux all tracks or decode all tracks.
