I have got LG GSA 4120B drive purchased. I have put it into external enclosure (combo FireWire/USB) and connect to lap top via FireWire PCIMCIA bus. I am running Win 98 system.

Burning DVD+RW works perfectly (Nero 6). Unfortunately neither CD nor CDRW work on this configuration with NERO. The data gets into buffer, and when the actual burning process starts the sysem hangs up and the message is something like "Aborted SCSI command".

This sounds STRANGE to me as the DVD drive is IDE....
The system needs to be rebooted afterwards.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Maybe some setting in NERO 6???
