I have to go through a long process to get my DVD's to play on my set top. here is the list of steps:

1) Use DVDDecrypter to extract
1.5) Use DVD Fab if necessary to split and strip
2) Use DVD Xcopy to transcode and create an iso (if quality is above 80%)
3) Use Nero or Alcohol to burn that iso to disc.

I have tried every other method and nothing but this method creates readable discs.

Well there is something strange happening. On occasion I burn a disc and for whatever reason it won't play on my set top. Even when I use the above procedures. The strange thing is I put the disc back in my burner and I see no data through my computer and I can not reextract the data with DVD decrypter. Whats even stranger is if I open Nero it can read the data off of the disc. Now I figured I could get it back by having Nero make an iso file then pulling the files back out with WinRAR (extracts iso files). Well for some reason Nero refuses to create an iso file anymore. I used to be able to create iso files in nero by choosing the image recorder. Well not anymore and I have changed nothing. All I can get are NRG files. Any ideas why this disc will not play set top, and shows no data in any other program besides Nero?

Thanks for any help.
