    When i convert video clips (mostly music videos) that are 3-5 minutes long to mpeg-2 format the duration is coming up wrong. For example it will say something like 1hr 45 mins for a 3 minute video. When i tansfer it over to my acrhos the duration is "unknown" It will play but it can really be fast forwarded or anything. Is this a codec problem? Has anyone heard of this?

    What format are the 3-5 min videos? How are you converting to MPeg2?

    Never heard of that.
