I plan on purchasing the 2510 model but when people say that the drive can have a hard time reading a DVD/CD if scratches are present.
That bothers me.
The drive will be my only and primary dvdrom drive and I plan on using it for 2 years to come.
Should I still pick this drive or go with Lite-On?

Have you seen those comments a lot? If so that's a no brainer go with something else.
