  1. I'm creating a theme and setting a background image for the main menus of my DVD's, which is fine. There is also a chapter box that you can either leave blank or again, place an image in. The problem I have is that the chapter box, if no image is allocated to it, appears blank on the DVDs created main menu, or if an image is inserted, is yellow until some some or action is pressed on the mouse of the DVD player remote.

Anyone know how to stop this, or is it just a limitation of the package.

    Thanks

  2. I think you meant the main menu's " Track " button?
'Cos with chapters, you should have more than one button. So I assume you're talking about the track button.

The track button display the first frame/image of the movie. It cannot be left blank. Double click on it and a player will show up, play the clip 'til reached a desired image and click stop then OK, the image will show on the button.

Please correct me if I assumed wrong.

  3. Yep, sorry it is the track box, above the track title. I know it can't be left blank, but you can add a background image which when creating the theme is fine, when then goes onto creating the DVD and you play it on a DVD player, that picture looks like a negative, until you perform the next operation.

  4. Let me try to understand this.

Forget the background image, that is not your problem/question, right?

There should be a ' Play All ' button on the main menu, and it is highlighted in yellow by default when the menu is first displayed. The yellow hightlight is there to show the user which button is currently selected. Don't know what you mean by " negative ". Use the cursor on the DVD remote to select a different button.

  5. Nope, I'm talking about the track background image you can apply, I'm guessing by your response, that it is yellow to detail it as selected, when I select something else, the image is correctly displayed.

What you are looking at is the overlay color which shows which track will play when you enter the play button, when you select another track the overlay color moves to that track and the previous track displays with no overlay thus looking normal.Pressing the track also changes the color. The newest tmpgenc dvd author has a new feature which lets you change the overlay color to what you want.
