All-In-Wonder stereo/mono sound problem

My All-In-Wonder 9000Pro has suddenly started playing TV/Video monitor sound only through the right speaker, even though it can still capture the same stream in stereo. Sometimes for no apparent reason it will go back to playing through both speakers temporarily, but I can't get it to stick that way. I'm using MMC 8.9.

Has anyone encountered this problem and found a cure?

That sounds like a loose wire, bad cable or a setting on your soundcard.

My soundcard will do the same same thing but that's only during capturing from a playback source with only one sound jack. I run the sound directly to my soundcard since there is only one channel of sound it only plays in one speaker. I capture in mono so playback of the capture produces sound in both speakers. I could have sound in both speakers during capture by setting the soundcard to mono.
