    I'm a newbie here and I just wanted to say thanks. After many months of reading on this site and combining various tutorials and how-to guides that various member have posted I was finally able to convert a PAL DVD to NTSC DVD 5.1 disc.

    thanks Capmaster. This is a great place to learn if you are willing to spend some time reading.

    There are still a few things that I want to figure out (how to keep subtitles and dts soundtracks) but right now I happy that I got it to work.
