FutureShop in Canada is now listing Kodak DVD-R and DVD+R 5 packs, 25packs, and 100 packs on their website. Kodak used to be a big name in CD-R media but this is the first I have heard of their involvement in DVD media. Does anyone know if they are producing these themselves or simply putting their brand on them? Has anyone tried these?

Here are some links to the packaging if you are interested:

Go to nomorecoasters.com and read Lordsmurf's page. Then e-mail him and ask if he has any experience with Kodak media.

AFAIK, Kodak has been out of optical media manufacturing for a while. Its likely that these are OEM products rebadged by Kodak.

Nonetheless, these are brand new. No info exists on them in Media List. I doubt Lordsmurf will have any info on these.

Glad you're back. Is school finished, or are you on a break?

Just updating here from RFD, bodobodo.

From bodobodo's post in another forum:

    "5 pack DVD-R: India
    25pack DVD-R: India
    100pack DVD-R: India

    5 pack DVD+R: Taiwan
    25pack DVD+R: Taiwan
    100pack DVD+R: India"

=> most will probably be Moser Baer, India. Remains to be seen how it is.
