I have a 'server' in a medium-to-large Antec case. The original power supply is no longer in there but I'm looking to upgrade. The case has...
-----------------------------
4-5.25 external bays
2-3.5 external bays
4-3.5 internal bays
-----------------------------
The basic internals include...
Intel Socket 370 mobo w/snd
PIII-800 (133FSB)
512MB RAM
ATI Radeon VE (AGP)
Firewire card (may pull)
Silicon Graphics IDE RAID controller.
I currently have 4 WD 2000JBs, a DVD-ROM and a CD-RW, as well as a 40GB removeable in it. Ideally, I'll probably drop the CD-RW and just keep the DVD, but I'd also like to be able to add maybe 2 more 2000JBs. I was hoping for recommendations on a brand / wattage / model PSU to handle all of what I have now as well as being powerful enough to handle my future plans.
(If prices start to drop, I may end up adding 2 Hitachi 7k400s instead of 2 more 2000JBs.)

Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.

If you're lookind for something quiet, go for a sparkle quiet something. I can't remember the exact name of the model line, but I just put one in a new computer that I built. It's the quietest power supply that I've heard, (or haven't), yet.
Depending on the brand, you can probably get away with 400 watts, but I always like to go higher, for unanticipated additions. -
get a TRUEPOWER ANTEC POWER SUPPLY. Antec power supplies are quiet.

From the SMP ATX world people swear by PC Power and Cooling, in particular the TurboCool 510 Deluxe:

But of course that's a $200+ power supply. However with people saying that it's the last power supply you'll ever need to buy it may not be such a bad deal.
I have Antec in both my SMP machines now and a Sparkle 350w in my internet machine. The Sparkles are quiet but about as much so as the Antec with its variable speed large fans. The new Antec NewPower 480 I just got is really something though. It has modular cabling so you only add the cables to it you need and it uses a single 120mm fan. It's the quietest power supply I have ever witnessed. It also has a "fan only" power cable with two Molex connectors on it that it can vary the speed of them with so you can hook up your chassis fans to it to keep them under control. It also claims it uses less electricity but I don't really have a way of judging that.
NewEgg has them for $150 but there is a $30 instant rebate which is why I decided to get one of those.
