    I have been able to covert avi files to vcd to watch, but now I have a couple of divx files that I would like to convert so I can watch on my dvd player.
    I am new as this kind of conversion so any help would be appreciated.

    DivX is a form of AVI. Your method for converting AVI files will continue to work.
