  1. Hi, ... i follwed this tutorial when creating SVCD on DVD ...

    But i have a problem when i play it on my DVD player . . . Everything works fine but when i choose the episode to play, it starts of with the image scrambled and distorted. . . But if i quickly fast forward the disc everything goes back to normal and teh image is pretty good quality!!

    Does anyone know what the problem and how to solve it??

    The problem is your dvd player doesnt play the patched mpg properly,to fix it you will have to encode the long way with a program like tmpgenc to proper dvd specs,etc 352x480.

    what is the resolution of DVD??

    I looked at TMPG and it said 352 X 576 ... isn't that weird?

    No, that's 1/2 DVD resolution for PAL.

    Look in the What is DVD section for more info, it's over there <-<-<-.
