I have Premier 1.5. There are a few minor improvements and some bug fixes, but all in all, 1.5 is nothing to write home about. One word of caution, Adobe has now gone to a copy-protection system on all its software that is similar to what Microsoft uses. It's now impossible to install their software on more than one one computer (unless you lie and tell Adobe your motherboard burned out, or some other tall tale).

BTW, I think Premier is an excellent product, but I wonder if it's worth the money.

This is not entirely true. I read on Adobe's website and only 2 programs that require activation: Photoshop CS and Pro 1.5. And according to this from Adobe, you can install them on 2 machines:

    From the Adobe Website:

Q: Can I activate Adobe software software on more than one computer?

A: The activation process supports installation on two machines. Adobe's Product License Agreement allows a user to install the product on a primary and a secondary computer as long as the product is not being used concurrently on the two machines. While the activation process supports installing and activating Adobe software on two machines, the usage of the product on the secondary computer is restricted to the main user who licensed the software. Allowing others to use Adobe software on a secondary computer violates the Product License Agreement.

And is it worth the money? Yes I would say it is. I just ordered the Adobe Video Collection Professional 2.5, because i like its intergration with each other.

    VTM
