hp200i will not burn memorex dvd+r anymore need help

ok heres the problem I have an hp 200i dvd writer and it will not burn to memorex dvd+r anymore. I re-formated my computer and since then it has'nt been able to burn to dvd+r. I am at a lost right now help please. this has never happened before I am running win xp

Is your burner using 1.72 firmware?

How many burns have you done with it? I have sent 2 HP 300i burners back because I could only get about 150 to 200 burns out of them. Is your burner still under warranty? It has a one year warranty. Both of mine were under warranty. My friend told me that he's got about 700 burns out of his plextor writer and it is still burning. I think I am going to go with Plextor next. Check your Warranty.
