  1. I author will not recognize mpg files muxed with bbmpeg to svcd. Even if i rename the file type to mps it does not accept it while making the cif file.
    Help please

  2. You need to mux the stream using I-author's mux function, de-mux and use the seperate audio and video sources.

    You can use the I-Author multiplexor but it is very buggy. Unless you need soft encoded subtitles its best to multiplex with bbmpeg and convert to mps with mpgxmps.

  4. mpgxmps requires a certain packetsize - if i remux the mpeg in bbmpeg with the specific paketsize required does it change anything? if not what does this packetsize mean?

    mpgxmps requires that the mpg be muxed with a 2324 packetsize. This is the standard packetsize of svcds and vcds. If you select the svcd or vcd option when muxing in bbmpeg then it should already have this packetsize and mpgxmps should accept it.

  6. By the way what does packetsize mean? doesit only apply when muxing and does it have anything to do with streams muxed - do they have an original packet size?
