  1. Hey,

Im thinking about buying a camcorder, is digital or anoluge camcorders easiest for putting the captured video to cd?

Also, whats a good camera to buy? And what programs good for putting the stuff to cd?

  2. Digicams with pass throughs can serve a dual purpose...They speedily allow the transfer of DV video recorded by camera onto your PC (no additional capture card and capture time necessary)...and the pass through functionality would allow you to digitize any analogue source that you "pass through" it. With an analogue camcorder all footage shot needs to be digitized using separate equipment.

An additional thing to keep in mind is that unless you are willing to spend a LOT of money for a 3 chip digicam you are probably going to be disappointed with the low light capability of digital camcorders.
No, I'm from Iowa. I only work in outer space.
