For a long time I've been downsizing my audio from 44800 Hz to 44100 with VirtualDub as advized by one of the guides. However, I find that when I do, the audio is more faint in the resulting wav file. The wav files always sound softer and the sounds are a bit muted. I was wondering:
1) Can you make SVCDs without downsizing the audio to 441
2) Will leaving the audio at 448 fix the volume problem? Perhaps the decreased stereo surround sound is responsible for the change in volume.

Nevermind. I seem to have discovered a volume adjustment option on a different version of VirtualDub.
