  1. I have two mpg that I have been trying to burn to dvd. I used sizzle twice but it kept crashing. The mpg's will play using MPlayer just fine. Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get these to DVD? I got as far as creating disk image in sizzle while following Galactica's tutorial...then crash. It would be easier if my dvd player supported SVCD......

you could try demuxing and remuxing the mpegs back together to repair any time code errors

that or try using toasts mpeg to svcd option

just two things that come to mind

  3. You can also use ffmpegx to create a DVD of the mpeg files with no menu. Put all the mpgs into a folder. Make sure you delete any .ds_store invisible files using some cleaner program like .ds_cleaner from Version Tracker and do not leave that folder open in Browser mode.
Next, use the TOOLS section of ffmpegx and select the browse button to choose the folder you put the mpgs in (you could also just choose one mpeg but that would be if it was just a one mpeg movie).
Now, click the s/vcd>dvd button and let it do it's thing. It will create what you need to burn under toast. Hope this helps.

ps: this only works on registered versions
