Hi, i am very new to this video capture and editing stuff, and i need a little guidance. i am trying to capture from my pvr to dvd, i have done some tests and the captures turn out pretty well but the sound seems inconsistent. Sometimes it sounds relatively good, other times it sounds scratchy and nasal. I had been using onboard sound, i have since ordered an audigy 2 sound card.
I have tried the ati tv capture and pinnacle studio 8 with similar results video is good audio is iffy, I was authoring with tmpgenc which seemed to work well enuf.
So my question is, is there anything else i can do to improve sound quality better capture software, settings, or is this just what to expect with the AIW. I have read the forums a little and didn't come across an answer, or if i did it was over my head. Any sugestions would be appreciated.

so i got my new sound card and i was wondering if it would make any diference to capture the audio with the dongle on the aiw card, or capture directly to the line in of the soundcard, if thats even a possibility. Soundcard is a audigy 2 zs.

i was also wondering if anyone had experience using wireless audio/video senders, what is the quality like, my computer is on the other side of my living room it would be convienient to go wireless but not at the expense of quality.
