    hi I want to convert an avi clip to wmv? what program should I use?

    I've searhed this conversion on the site but unfortunately its not there....

    You didn't say what kind of AVI you have. Windows Movie Maker can accept AVI and convert to WMV. If you have a DIVX or XVID AVI you would probably have to convert them to a different format first.
