Guys,
I have recently obtained some mpg files.
Whenever I attempt to seek within these files, I am unable to. The timecode within Real is stating 0:00/Live.
What is causing this and what can I do to get rid of this without re-encoding the file?
Thx,
InteraX

Try running the mpegs through Restream. Here's a picture with some crude illustrations that may help. Don't change any settings, just load the mpeg file by hittin the little folder icon in the upper right corner, check Reset Timestamps, then hit Write. You can also hit the little icon that looks like a floppy disk above the Write button if you want to save the new mpeg file to a different folder. This may work, it's fixed problems that I've had with mpegs that won't seek, either.
