I have Van Helsing downloaded (screener, SVCD version) iI have joined all 3 cds to one file which is now 2.1GB in size. I want to transfer this on a DVD-R to watch it on my DVD player, but the encoding using TMPGenc Plus takes like 4 hrs !!! Is this normal? My specs are below..

also try converting/burning with Nero Vision Express and it prompts me that the file will NOT fit on a DVD-R (would fit on a DVD9 which I dont have). and so it will not convert/burn.. even if i force it to squeeze onto it it will not.

I have tried TMPGenc DVD Author and it gives me error that the file is not DVD standard.. forcing me to re-encode it with TMPGenc Plus (hence the 4hr + wait). But wonce thats done, will the file size fit on a DVD-R (less then 4.7 GB)?

Is there other software I can try thats faster/easier to do this? Google search doesnt come up with many results for this conversion.. please help, I got a few SVCDs that I wanna put on DVD but im stuck !

    specs:

    Athlon 2200 XP + (1800 MHz)
    Asus A7N8X-X 400 FSB
    1GB DDR400 RAM
    ATI Radeon 9800 PRO 128MB
    Windows XP Pro
    80 GB MAXTOR 7200 rpm
