Well there's been posts to show pictures of you, your kids, your car, your dog and even your computer. Well I like Motorcycles and have been riding them since I was 14 years old. I can't be the only person here that likes bikes, so I thought that maybe you could post a picture of your bike. I think it would be cool to see the variety of bikes that people ride.

I've owned 17 bikes through the years, here is my current ride:

Sorry don't have any actual pictures of mine, but here is one I pulled from the web:

Go ahead, laugh But I'll tell you one thing, never had more fun than riding this thing like I stole it, and trying to make it go as fast as it can. It really needs and 80cc in it but finding a way to get the lights working with the dirt bike 80 is difficult.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

  8. I used to have one of these for cheap commuting.

Stick to cars now, never really been into Bikes. The wifes brother was killed in a motorcycle accident years ago, so I think she is quite pleased that I have no interest in them.
    And those pants are shocking

Those pocket bikes are real cool. I always wanted one for my pit bike, but I already had a trusty honda 50 minibike.

    @ thayne

The ZX6 was a nice bike. A buddy of mine rode the ZX11.

This is the bike I ride for an hour and a half to and from college every day. Been using it averaging four times a week for a year now and it still works. Not bad for $50 at Toy R Us!

A left-turning Monte Carlo ended my street-riding days. I still have the bug though, which surfaces whenever I read threads like this one

Wow, you got the whole family riding. Now that's cool! The last time my wife got on the back of my bike, we were still dating. I took my son for his first ride @ 3, but now it seems he's afraid to ride with me. But I think he'll grow out of it.

Here's a picture of my son's first ride back in 98:

I still have that bike and it's in mint condition. I told my son that if I still had it around when he turns 18, I'd give it to him. The bike will be 27 years old by then. It will probably worth a few bucks for sure.

    @ thayne,
Yes, those ZX11s were the fastest bikes around when they came out. Now the ZX12s and the Hayabusa's rule top speed.

I was just about to go out and take a picture of our bikes, but then I remembered they were stolen. Thanks for bringing back the painful memory and opening up old wounds.

Never found who did it. We sent the bikes registration in, but there was a string of bike thefts in the area and a few bikes were found where the person was filing off the registration numbers. They were only bicycles, but all together we were out $750.

We had locks on them, going through the wheels and the frames. They were also locked in our back yard, so someone knew they were there and had to have used bolt cutters. It happened while we were at work, so we're sure it was one of our neighbors. It was back in NY and we've been moved for about 2 1/2 years now. I miss my bike. 21 speed with front and rear suspension and wide comfort seat.

There's no way I'll ever see top speed on my bike, unless I'm at Bonneville. I use to Dragrace bikes, but that was only 1/4 mile straight run. The fastest I hit there was 154 mph, and that was pretty fast when you consider that you're starting from a standing still and 8.5 sec later you're hitting over 150 mph.

Back in 84, I had a brand new Kawasaki ZX 900 Ninja. I wanted to see what it would do wide open, so I took it out on the highway and opened it up. I had it up to 155 mph and was passing cars like they were going the oposite way. I came apon a bunch of cars and it took all the braking power I had to avoid ramming into them. It scared the crap out of me. Since then I only go fast at a race track.

A right-turning garbage recycling truck ended mine. My bug bites
too, but for bush bashing trial stuff - not street-riding.

Where did you race at? I used to drag race all the time at Bakersfield Race way in Bakersfield, CA I think my best 1/4 mile was in the high 10's, but that was fast for a 600. I used to beat 750's all the time. 8) I even beat Ninja 900's 8)

My home track was New England Dragway in Epping NH. If you ran high 10's, then I'm sure you beat the stock 900 ninjas. Mine was bone stock and it ran mid 11's.

The funny thing about it, was that the first time I dragraced was with that 900 ninja back in 84. I took it up to the track to see what it could do. They told me I had to enter it into the Bracket Bike ET class, so I did. I never thought I had a chance at winning and neither did anybody I raced, but sure enough I made it to the finals and won the whole thing. Not bad for the first time up, I thought. I had to strap the Trophy they gave me on the back of the bike, so I could ride it home. A few days latter, I recieved a check in the mail for $200. I thought to myself, not bad for a day's work and it was a lot of fun too. I was hooked then, and eventually I built a serious Drag Bike to race.

I had my V45 Magna up to 135, but it had no fairing, and that was on the interstate. Almost lost it when a guy was about to change lanes into mine, but saw me and stopped. I would have bought the farm if he hadn't stopped.

When I got off the bike, it took me about 10 minutes to recover the seat That was the last time I saw the sunny side of 100

Actually it was the 3.2L. Still a "Dual" OHC V6, 1999. We buried the needle. In a 3.5L we probably would have done better. We were on a long flat Highway. Heading South on I-15 between Mesquite and Las Vegas. We were around the Moapa area when we were pulled over. Just past the indian reservation. My wife forgot to tell me when the reservation ended. Oh well. However, I now have a written document that says how fast a chrysler concorde can go with me behind the wheel.

Those things look fast when they're parked.
