    Gday,
    Ive done heaps of editing of mpegs in premiere pro before, but suddenly it crashes every time i import an mpeg into it. The little preview in the top left corner of the project window appears as vertical grey stripes.

    Any tips?

    Im guessing codec problems?? how do i fix??

    fixed by downloading and installing new mpeg-2 codecs from
    http://www.divxmovies.com/software/
