For the amount of time I'm usually on here, this is kind of impressive. This is actually post 1001, because I barely even realized I had made it this far. Kudos to those who have been here as long as me or less and are at 2-3 times further ahead of me. I'd probably have hit much sooner if we counted all the posts from politik.

Tonight I'm celebrating by going to the Fiesta Rancho Buffet. And maybe do a few hands of BlackJack at the tables.

    Doramius,
Congrats! You're getting there. That first 1,000 is the hardest. After that it just becomes a blur

Slacker Did it take you a while to discover OT and that not all posts have to be technically useful?

Yes, but you did "see the light". And you've made up for all that time putting up socially acceptable posts, helping newbies, and generally going against all we stand for here in OT Better late than never

You've been here for a a while longer than many of us. Be lucky you haven't been penalized for taking so long to hit your level. Treebeard is also a little slow, but most of us already knew that and let it slide. :P

This 1st 1000 almost was a blur on it's own. If I hadn't been paying attention, I'd have been at 2000 wondering what happened to the time.

I have a recipe for Cherry Cheese CupCakes, but was waiting for after the elections so as not to hinder my strengths, but since they DIDN'T EVEN INCLUDE ME AS ANY OF THE CANDIDATES, here you all go:

24 - Aluminum foil cupcake tins
    1tsp. - Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 Cups - packed confectioners powdered sugar
24oz. - plain cream cheese (usually in 3 8oz. packages)
2 cans - whole cherry pie filling (preferably Comstock Ruby Red) Other fruits can be substituted
    12oz. tub - whipped cream
1 box - Vanilla Wafers. (may need second box for garnish is desired)

Mix Vanilla exract, cream cheese, whipped cream while slowly adding in the sugar until completely blended.

Place foil tins in deep baking dish. Place vanilla wafers in bottom of each tin.

With large tablespoon (fancy cake decorator may be used for show) spoon mix into each of the CupCake tins while making a large dimple in the top middle. Each portion size is determined on hom much mix you put into each tin. Larger portions may only require 12 tins.

With another tablespoon, place 2 or 3 cherries, draining SOME of the sauce back in the can, into the dimple of each cheese cupcake. Place in Refrigerator for 1-2 hours to thicken.

    Alternatives:
For a crushed crust, place broken bits or crushed wafers in bottom of tin.

Half wafers can be slid vertically down the side of a tin like a half sunset for decoration.

A single mint leaf on each cupcake may also be used for garnish.

If planning on using chocolate instead of fruit, make cupcake mix per instructions, add 1/3 cup fudge topping and fold or slowly stir mix 3-5 times for swirling effect. Add chocolate shell for drizzle effect and place mini chocolate bars in the dimple of the mix.

Best fruit alternatives are strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, and mandarin oranges. (Caution: Oranges, pineapple, and other such fruits do not necessarily come in a thick syrup as do cherries, blueberries, & strawberries. These should be drained completely before placing on cheesecakes)
EDIT: For those that PM'd me, it's NO BAKE.

Suspicious of Doramius for not posting his picture with the rest of the class, I took it upon myself to "hack" into doramius' hard drive and seek the truth...and look what I found.

A pic taken last weekend at their last cross dressing recipe party. I am losing more and more respect for you 3 everyday. :P

Anyone else wanting to break into doramius' computer his IP address is 127.0.0.1

As a side note, Cap and Flan, I think you guys should appreciate how difficult it was for me to resist taking your real faces and graph them on or creating a whole gay or lesbian or vinyl cooking scene

Actually, if I would have had a pic of Doramius I would have done it...but 2 out of 3 would have been incomplete

Abuse? That's some might harsh wording....

Tekkie is a masocist...he wants the abuse, he yearns for the abuse...he enjoys it. (Kind of a "can't rape the willing" type of thing)

The 2 threads are "Northcat Confess" and "submit your picture" threads...it would just be easier if I reposted them...

Don't let tekkie bullshit you...these are the original pics he submitted, Capmaster had to photoshop the ones actually posted sad, very sad indeed. :P :P

I'll have to find a photo quickly just to see the photochop of the cooking ladies. I've been called 'The Shadow' by many friends (I've been called a lot of other things, but i'll leave out the bad ones most commonly used by my wife) usually because of the whole me being quite unless asked anything. I had friends call me 'One Word' for the longest time because if I was asked a question, I'd usually only respond verbally with 1 word. I've also been reference to 'Verbal' from "Usual Suspects". Good film.

Northcat's only telling half the story. He's just pissed at the information I've got on him from the wiretaps.

I think I was pissed that day with the fact that the square-stripes outfit was the only clean one I had available. That pink wasn't very flattering. That and the fact that I wasn't wearing a bra either. Cap had a lovely paisley blouse though.

teegee also tastes better with ketchup or gravy. Jeex needed salt.

That's from some newbies I had earlier, and I'm a little lactose intolerant.

That scarf was just not helping Flan's ensemble that day. I also don't think that pink-rose is his color at all.
