  1. I am trying to figure out the simplest way to remove an audio track from a video and then divide it into tracks to make audio cd's. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

    Hello,
If it's vob/mpeg use tmpgenc and mpeg tools. Go to demultiplex, input the video, double click the audio portion, save as a wav. Then you can use any tool to make an mp3 or audio cd.

P.S. If it's a avi your best bet would probably be virtualdub. It also has a audio extraction feature.

  3. If you are trying to rip the audio from a DVD then just use DVDecrypter in IFO mode. Searh the forum for more info on how to do this.

  4. If its .avi or MPEG-1 then you can use Virtualdub. If it is MPEG-2 or .vob go with VirtualdubMOD. If its quiktime then you should load it into TMPGEnc (make sure you have the TMPGEnc Mov Plugin) convert to MPEG-1 and open in Virtualdub.
This plan is so bad, it must be one of ours.
