    I have DV files on my hard drive and want to output them to a VCR I know the AVDC100 has analog outputs for audio and video, but how fo I get an output to them.

    No kidding budz! I have that hooked up but can't seem to get analog video and audio to output from the back output jacks of the Caopus. I am using Arcsoft Showbiz for playing the DV,

    lmfao no kidding! you asked a question and I answered you. Perhaps you should've have posted that you hooked up the canopus output to your vcr in the first place. Then you wouldn't have gotten a that reply from me.

    First of all why do you want to watch DV files off of a VCR? I don't understand that. Convert the DV files into mpeg format and burn it on a DVD if you have a dvd burner. As for using Showbiz for playing the DV files, you can use any other program playback DV files. What are you trying to accomplish here? Be more specific in your post then maybe others can help you.

    Are they .avi files?? I'm not sure MPEG files can be converted to analogue with the advc 100.

    I have recorded some of my son's tv shows, Edited out the long commercials with Showbiz,, and want to put them back on a tape. Quality isn't a concern but time of play is, so I don'y want to burn a bunch of DVDs. Just fill a 6 hour VHS tape to keep him entertained for more than what a DVD will hold.

    I have the AVDC set to Digital in because that is what the manual says when you output a DV file to analog.
