Hi,
I'm using SVCD2DVDMPEG to convert SVCD's to DVD compliant material which I then use TMPGEnc Author to author and burn to DVD's. I've read the post from Dec 2003 https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=194547 about a possible fix for the Incorrect GOP problem which I get about 80% of the time when importing SVCD2DVDMPG material into TMGEnc Author.
Can someone please clarify to me at what stage do I use the Merge and Cut facility in TMPGEnc ie. do I use SVCD2DVDMPG to first rip the material, then use TMPGEnc to re-encode it adding in the correct GOP headers, and then use TMPGenc Author to create the DVD?
I'm new at this and am looking for the easiest, most automated mannor to create DVD's from SVCD's without having to re-encode all the time just to get rid of the GOP headers problem. Any help appreciated.
